Squid Giants can nominate their own lenses or someone else's, but one requirement they must be Giant Squid lenses. Every Friday they select up to 6 worthy lenses and give them purple stars, announcing the winners on the secret Giants blog.

If your Squidoo lens is awarded the coveted Purple Star Award, please submit it to the new Purple Star Lens category in the SquiDirectory addition to any other appropriate categories it fits into.
